About Us
Northern Lakes Property Management One is a home-based vacation rental and commercial cleaning business. We offer a wide range of waterfront vacation rentals in Northern Michigan's beautiful Tip-of-the-Mitt region. Being home-based and operating right here in the area where our rentals are located allows us to deliver superior customer service to both our guests and cottage owners. We treat each cottage in our listings as if were our own. This personal attention has resulted in memorable, relaxing vacations for our guests, as well as cottage owners who are confident that their homes are being professionally managed and cared for. The commercial cleaning division of our business delivers professional cleaning services to two local businesses. We work closely with these businesses and our cleaning staff to ensure their buildings are always sparkling clean.

Our Team
Northern Lakes Property Management One has been owned and operated by Bill and Peg Stark for over 10 years. Bill and Peg purchased the business after retiring from their careers downstate, and moving to the Cheboygan area. Bill was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years. During his teaching career, Bill was awarded Teacher of the Year honors, and in 2013, his alma mater, Northern Michigan University, awarded Bill with the Alumni Achievement Award. Peg worked for many years in a family owned office products business, specializing in customer service, retail sales, and shipping and receiving.

We are very proud of our professional residential and commercial cleaning staff. These highly trained and dedicated people are incredibly important to our success as a business.
